Four-armed Guanyin is one of the incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Four-armed Guanyin is the patron saint of the snowy plateau. Its mantra is “Om Mani Padme Hum'' that is, “six-character mantra” or “six-character daming mantra”. Tibetan Buddhism believes that holding the six-character Daming mantra can eliminate the fear of illness, punishment and untimely death, it can also increase life expectancy, and enrich wealth. The four-armed Guanyin has one face and four arms. Being merciful and kind, she wears a five Buddha crown, soft heavenly clothes. She wears precious jewelry, earrings and a necklace. The first pair of hands hold a Crystal Rosary on her right hand and an eight-petal lotus in her left hand. The second pair of hands are held in palms in front of her chest. Her feet are placed in the center of the lotus throne. There are halos, auspicious clouds, and distant mountains behind.
