David Ellis, was born in North Carolina in January of 1971. He grew up in a musical household which is a huge influence in his work today. He is a multimedia painter and installation artist whose work is centered around the passage of movement, rhythm, and sound. He combines his visual artwork and passion for musical expression to create his wide range of artwork from stop-motion videos to kinetic sculptures, as well as live painting performaces.
