Niangben China, b. 1971
He is the incarnation of the Buddha of Treasures. Taking the responsibilities of managing wealth, he corresponds to the Indian Buddhist god of wealth, Jupira and is regarded as the protector of the world. The appearance of his image was the result of Buddhist exchanges between people of Han nationality and those living in Tibet. Wearing a crown on his head and covered in armor, his body is golden yellow and covered with treasures of jewelries. Holding treasure in his right hand and a silver rat that spits out treasures in his left hand, he sits on top of a green-maned white lion in the posture of a bodhisattva.
